Rob McHaffie

Rob is an artist living in Castlemaine, Dja Dja Wurrung country. His painting, drawing and ceramic portraiture of characters, both real and imagined, offer an engagement with themes of personal healing, family life, human relationships and the foibles of contemporary times. Rob regularly exhibits work around Australia and New Zealand and has work in many public collections. This is his first children’s picture book.

Julia Chapman

Julia Chapman is an Illustrator and artist behind the pictures in ‘Australia is our home’. She is known for her detailed depictions of various natural subjects, namely many species of birds. Julia has a strong connection to the country and the coast. Besides running her online store and manning stalls at craft markets, Julia works full-time as a graphic designer. This is her first children’s picture book.

Laura Giuffrida-Keogh

Laura is a writer and publisher who lives and works on Dja Dja Wurrung country in Central Victoria. She established Book Ink Publishing in 2017 to create, collaborate and tell her own stories. Her business is based in a launderette!
